EXPEDITION
Ran meteor patrol program (10pm-5am), for Nov 18-19.
There was a noticeable peak at the predicted 2nd max (10:40 UT Nov 19). Photos & video show many meteors recorded. The locations of meteors were noticeably active near the radiant & near Ursa Major.
Many bright meteors, with persistent trails. No meteors with "glow worms". During peak, "simultaneously occurring" meteors were observed & recorded (see above photos).
The '02 Leonids didn't have the fireball "frenzy" as in '01 & '98. However, the frenetic activity near the peak with bright meteors was an excellent display.
