14mm rectilinear, (West -> East) 55 deg fireball @8:00pm PST 10/8/98 PST
I did not see this fireball visually, since I was busy setting up my low-light B&W video camera. It is AT LEAST 55 deg (the extent on film). It appears as if the meteor trail has a *considerable* extent beyond the frame, which implies a very LONG meteor trail (70 deg?).
